Our URL shortener service allows users to create shortened URLs with the following features:

Option to password-protect your shortened URLs
Option to set usage limits for your shortened URLs, after which they will be automatically deactivated
Option to set expiration dates for your shortened URLs

Reporting system for malicious or abusive URLs
3. Analytics & Usage Statistics
Our service provides comprehensive analytics for shortened URLs, including:
Total click counts and click trends over time
Time-based analytics (by day, hour, and minute)
Referrer information (which websites sent visitors to your link)
Geographic data (country-level location of clicks)
Browser and device information (browser types and device categories)
Peak usage hours and patterns
CSV export of all collected analytics data
These analytics are only accessible using your unique access key generated when creating the shortened URL. You are responsible for securing your access key.
4. Link Ownership & Browser Storage
Since our service does not require account creation, links you create are associated with your browser. Please note:
Only URLs created in your current browser session will be accessible for management
Your unique access key is required to view analytics and delete URLs
Clearing your browser data may result in losing access keys to manage your shortened URLs
Lost access keys cannot be recovered - you will lose the ability to view analytics or delete those URLs
5. Privacy & Data Collection
For each click on a shortened URL, we collect and store:
Timestamp of the click
Referrer URL (the website that linked to your shortened URL)
Country of origin (determined from IP address, but IP address itself is not stored in analytics)
Browser information (browser type and version)
Device category (Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet)
Additionally, for security and abuse prevention purposes:
IP addresses may be temporarily stored (up to 24 hours) for rate limiting and abuse prevention
IP addresses are permanently stored when you submit a report about a malicious URL
We do NOT:
Store IP addresses permanently in our analytics database
Track individual users across different shortened URLs
Build user profiles for marketing or advertising
Collect any information from the destination website

6. Rate Limiting & Fair Use
To ensure service availability and prevent abuse:
We implement rate limiting on URL creation and access to public endpoints
Excessive automated requests may result in temporary or permanent blocking
Your IP address and request patterns may be temporarily stored for rate limiting purposes
Circumventing rate limits through technical means is prohibited
We reserve the right to adjust rate limits at any time without notice
Normal usage by legitimate users will not be affected by these measures.
7. URL Reporting System
You may report malicious or abusive URLs through our reporting system:
Reports must be made in good faith and should identify legitimate concerns
False or spam reports may result in blocking of your IP address
Your IP address will be stored with your report to prevent abuse
We review reports and may delete URLs that violate our terms
Submitting a report does not guarantee action will be taken
8. Password Protection
For password-protected links:
You are responsible for remembering and safeguarding passwords you set
Passwords are hashed and cannot be recovered if lost
Failed password attempts are rate-limited to prevent brute-force attacks
Repeated failed attempts may result in temporary lockouts
If a password is lost, you can still delete the URL using your access key
9. URL Limits & Expiration
Our service allows you to set usage limits and expiration for URLs:
URLs will automatically expire after your selected time period
URLs will automatically deactivate after reaching your selected usage limit (if specified)
Once a URL has expired or reached its usage limit, it cannot be reactivated
Analytics data for expired URLs may no longer be accessible and may be deleted at any time
You may create a new shortened URL with the same target destination
We reserve the right to set maximum expiration periods and usage limits
10. Link Deletion & Data Retention
Regarding the deletion of shortened URLs:
You may delete any URL you have created at any time using your access key
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
Analytics data for deleted URLs may no longer be accessible and may be deleted from our systems
We reserve the right to delete any URLs that violate our acceptable use policy
Expired URLs and their analytics data may be purged from our systems at any time
We do not guarantee retention of analytics data after URL expiration or deletion
Rate limiting data is automatically deleted after 24 hours
11. CSV Export & Data Portability
You can export your analytics data:
CSV export includes all collected analytics data for your shortened URL
Exported data includes timestamps, referrers, countries, browsers, and devices
Export is available at any time through the analytics dashboard
You are responsible for securing exported data
We are not responsible for any misuse or exposure of exported data
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our service for:
Illegal activities or content
Sharing malware, viruses, or other harmful content
Phishing, scams, or fraudulent activities
Content that violates others' intellectual property or privacy rights
Spamming or bulk messaging activities
Harassment, hate speech, or content promoting violence
Child exploitation or any content involving minors inappropriately
Bypassing intended usage limits through technical means
Automated scraping or harvesting of service data
Any activity that could harm our infrastructure or other users
Circumventing rate limits or security measures

Actions taken by users who access your shortened URLs
Misuse of exported CSV data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (which is zero for free users).
